St. Jude’s Church, Steel Plant, Salem

In 1993, St. Jude’s Church at Mohan Nagar, Steel Plant was erected as parish and handed over to the Pallottines. Rev. Fr. Silvester John was appointed as the parish priest he resided at Pallottiyagam and took care of the Parish until the Parochial house was constructed. The Parochial House was built at St. Jude’s Church campus and was blessed by the Bishop Most Rev. Bp. Michael Bosco Duraisamy on 28th Oct. 1995. Presently there are around 115 families coming under this parish.
