Every vocation is God’s gift, and therefore, prayer for vocations is absolutely necessary. At the same time, it is also human responsibility, and so, it should be promoted, nourished, and strengthened. Signs of true vocation are to be discerned in the young men who show interest in following a Pallottine way of life. Once discerned, they are to be introduced to the Society and given a proper orientation.
We are glad to accept candidates, who are interested in our way of life and ministry, after the SSLC (10th class), after 12th Class, and sometimes, even after the College Studies. Promoting vocations is an important task and involves numerous visits to schools, parishes, etc. Thanks to the tireless and concerted effort of all the Vocation Promoters in the past and in the present, we have around 50 students in various levels of formation in OLGH Province. In the last two years, vocation promotion encountered great difficulties due to the Pandemic. However, Fr. Vincent, the present Vocation Promoter of our Province, is doing his best. We invite vocations from anywhere in India.
