Jubilee Celebration of Priestly Ordination

             On January 23, 2024, a solemn celebration unfolded in St. Vincent Pallotti Chapel, Pillar Campus, Madurai, marking the Ruby Jubilee and Silver Jubilee of Priestly Ordination. The occasion commemorated the dedicated service and commitment of esteemed priests:

                   Fr. Emmanuel Savariaradimai presided over the concelebrated Eucharist, guiding the congregation in a spiritual journey that spanned four decades of dedicated priesthood. Fr. Siluvai Edwin warmly welcomed the gathering, setting the tone for the joyous occasion. Fr. Mahesh proclaimed the Gospel, and Fr. Susaikannu Esack delivered a beautiful homily reflecting on the journey of faith, service, and devotion. Fr. Joseph S. expressed gratitude on behalf of the jubilarians during the felicitation.

                The chapel radiated heavenly grace as 35 Pallottine priests, other clergy, jubilarians’ family members, and a significant number of religious sisters gathered to partake in the joyous occasion. The liturgy and choir added a celestial touch, creating an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. The beautifully decorated chapel served as a fitting backdrop for the significant event.

                Following the Eucharistic celebration, a heartfelt felicitation took place, where wishes were shared for the jubilarians. Mementos and bouquets were presented individually to the jubilarians during the felicitation. The jubilee moment was sweetened with the cutting of a jubilee cake, symbolizing the sweetness of 40 and 25 years in the service of God and humanity.

             The jubilee celebration concluded with a fellowship meal, fostering camaraderie and shared joy among all those present. May the legacy of these jubilarians continue to inspire and illuminate the path of faith for generations to come.
