The main focus of our apostolate has been and is “Parish Ministry.” As priests we are ordained first and foremost to exercise our ministry as pastors. Therefore, pastoral ministry has been given the prominence it deserves. It goes without saying that almost all the members working abroad are involved in pastoral ministry in their respective dioceses. Besides, the majority of our members working in India are also involved in parish ministry. We have 27 members working as Parish Priests and Assistant Parish Priests; we run 13 parishes in 9 Dioceses in Tamil Nadu. In the parishes we run, the members try to adopt a collaborative method of ministry and participatory model of church wherein the laity is given a prominent role to play.
